The Annual Tompkins Square Halloween Dog Parade
Pooches let their alter-egos shine, putting on some of the cutest and most creative costumes you've ever seen at the annual Tompkins Square Halloween Dog Parade. CNN calls it "the largest dog costume parade in the world” with hundreds of dogs in costumes and thousands of spectators. The London Guardian says “It’s Barkin’ Mad.” This year's parade contestants will be competing for thousands of dollars in prizes
The 28th Annual Tompkins Square Halloween Dog Parade is back on:
LOCATION: Please note that this year’s parade will be held at the East River Park Amphitheater located along side the FDR at Grand Street in East River Park
TIME & DATE: Sunday, October 28th from Noon - 3 p.m.
INSTRUCTIONS: The event is free and there is no need to pre-register your pet. Simply arrive between Noon - 1 p.m. and join in the celebration.

Runway competition begins at Noon. There is no need to pre-register, just come and have fun. Entrance to the event is free. A parade of all contestants and spectators will follow after Best In Show is announced. Contestant and Raffle winners must be present at the end of the competition to receive their prize or it will be donated to charity.
